When it comes to celebrating love, there are no rules. That’s why I was excited to capture Kristen and Patrick's beautiful weddings, yes, you heard that right! They celebrated their love twice! With an intimate elopement in Rocky Mountain National Park and a traditional wedding in Estes Park, Colorado! Our journey with this amazing couple began in Washington, where we shot their engagement photos in the breathtaking backdrops of Olympic National Park. From the lush Hoh Rain Forest to the breathtaking Ruby Beach, we were lucky to share these moments with them. It was during this time that we truly connected with Kristen and Patrick, who then asked us to be their wedding photographers. A request we happily accepted!

Both Kristen and Patrick have a strong bond with Colorado, a place that holds a special place in their hearts. Being avid nature lovers, they wanted their wedding to be a unique expression of their love. And boy, was it unique! Two days before their traditional wedding, we planned an elopement with their immediate family in Rocky Mountain National Park. The couple exchanged vows in the amazing park, bringing everyone to tears with their heartfelt words. They also shared a special set of vows with their family, this added an extra layer of emotion to the ceremony. As the ceremony ended, the clouds rolled in, and made for the perfect light for our shots!

As unpredictable as Colorado weather is, the day worked in our favor! We witnessed a sunset that painted the sky with colors so beautiful, it seemed straight out of a Bob Ross painting. Following the elopement was their traditional wedding day in Estes Park, at a stunning venue overlooking the mountains. The weather was moodier, but it added to the ethereal feel of the day, amplified by Kristen's gorgeous dress and veil. The mountains created the most beautiful backdrop for Kristen and Patrick as they exchanged their vows, creating a picture-perfect scene!
