We had the pleasure of capturing an intimate wedding in the Washington cascades, for an amazing couple Emily & Kyle. This beautiful couple who met at their workplace, decided to say their "I do's" in one of the most stunning natural landscapes in the world - the North Cascades - specifically, the Mount Baker ski area. If you've ever dreamt of immersing yourself in the heart of nature, trust me, this is the place to be! Now even though you can drive up it - it feels as if you could have been taken by helicopter and dropped right on a mountain top!

Their day began in a cozy Airbnb, tucked away in the woods, where they prepared for their big day. The Airbnb was full of anticipation as they got ready, their love for each other was palpable. Once they were ready, we headed up to Mount Baker where Emily and Kyle exchanged private vows, a moment that was as intimate as it was beautiful. But the adventure didn't stop there! After their heartfelt exchange, we captured some truly breathtaking adventure photos on the ridge. The background? None other than the stunning Mt. Shuksan. Although the sun decided to hide that day, the fog and clouds created an ethereal, moody vibe that perfectly complemented their vision!

Following their ceremony, Emily and Kyle were greeted by the intimate group of friends and family who had gathered to celebrate with them. Together, they made their way back to the Airbnb for a candlelit dinner under the pines, complete with tacos and margaritas - the perfect ending to a perfect day! The North Cascades and, in particular, the Mount Baker ski area, is one of the most accessible and breathtaking places to elope. It's not just perfect for the couple but also for family members, with many paved pathways and stunning hikes all around.

Now, let me tell you a little bit about Emily and Kyle. Despite being from rival teams - Emily from the University of WA Huskies and Kyle from the WSU Cougars – the rivalry made them even closer. Kyle proposed in Leavenworth, WA, overlooking the picturesque mountains, and when they found us as their photographers, we headed to Sedona, Arizona, for their engagement session! Emily and Kyle wanted to celebrate their love in two places that meant a lot to them. So, after the desert landscapes of Sedona, they chose the scenic views of Washington for their wedding. And it was the perfect choice it was!
