ECLECTIC & MODERN WEDDING EDITORIAL AT THE RUINS VENUE

We found Seattle’s most iconic wedding venue and I knew I had to photograph something special and creative inside of it’s unique and artistic walls! What I love about this venue is that it gives you something different. Although it is primarily an indoor space, each room is so unique and different from the next and the natural light floods the spaces a perfect amount. This venue even has a speakeasy that you can visit during the week / weekend, with a life size friend that takes up the space (scroll down to see who it is ;) ).

When coming up with this shoot, we wanted this concept to feel unique, eclectic, vintage mixed with modern, and exude a luxury feeling throughout.

As a photographer of weddings, I love getting to create concepts that keep fueling my passion for this craft and this project was certainly one of them! It gives us the opportunity to create something unique, and try things out of the ordinary. & Sometimes it even gives our couples inspirations for their own wedding day.

Soft blues, and teals, creams, and gold inspired our editorial. We wanted this concept to feel as if you’ve been transported to a castle in Europe, or even a storybook love story!
