One of our favorite Hawaiian islands is Kauai and that should come as no surprise since most of what we get to document is on this island! Kauai has become so special to us for many reasons and not just as photographers. We actually celebrated our honeymoon here and fell in love with the raw rugged landscape, vast Na Pali Coastline, jungle, and impeccable unique beaches. This island has so much to offer and can see why the call it the garden isle!

For this session Emily and Kyle are actually previous wedding clients of ours (VIEW THEIR WASHINGTON ELOPEMENT HERE), We also took their engagement photo’s in Sedona Arizona. So when it came time for them to start this new chapter together into parenthood, we knew where we’d be photographing them next would be just as adventurous as our last places! & When they found out we were going to be in Kauai? Well, they didn’t hesitate to join us on one of our favorite islands.

For this session we wanted to go for more of an ethereal feel and it didn’t disappoint! While we explored many of the beautiful locations the island had to offer, the North Shore felt like the right place for this vibe and landed on Tunnels beach and the surrounding jungle!
