An Adventurous Elopement Wedding in Kauai, Hawaii
Hawaii is one of our most treasured places to visit, a long with so many others. But what makes it so special other than the incredible sunshine and warm weather and water, is the experience Hawaii can truly give you. Each island has something so unique to offer and the landscape varies drastically on each of them! Depending on what your looking for each island will have something different whether it be to more adventurous, or even just relax!
WHY GET MARRIED IN HAWAII?
While most honeymoon in Hawaii, why not also get married there? Here me out. Wedding days are so sacred and special and go by far to quickly to just be celebrated on “ONE” day. When our couples choose to get married in Hawaii it’s because they are craving more of an experience to celebrate one of the most profound times in their lives and is what makes us so passion about Hawaii being such an incredible destination to choose! Whether your wanting to elope or celebrate with your friends and family, these islands have such opportunity to create a celebration that matters most to you!
For example we could spread the wedding experience throughout a few days. One day being our adventure day and EPIC landscape photos with the two of you.! This is even a great way to exchange vows to each other. Another day can be an excursion day, boat ride on the Na Pali Coastline, Horse back riding on the beach, Kyak to a waterfall, underwater snorkeling photos. The ideas are endless. & If your having a moderately sized wedding, all this can be done before or after the actual wedding day. What is comes down to is how you want to look back and feel when you think and look at these memories again. Not to mention everytime to come to visit Hawaii it will feel even more profound.
Katie & Dan’s Kauai Elopement
Katie and Dan’s Elopement was so special! They brought their closest friends with them all the way from the New York to the island of Kauai to celebrate this newest chapter in their life. They both wanted something that felt adventurous and remote. So immediately we knew Waimea Canyon would be the perfect place for them!
We first started our day with a hike for adventure photo’s within Waimea Canyon and it did not disappoint! The sun was shining and there was barely anyone on the trail. As we made it to the view point there was an overlook swing with the view of the canyon and we couldn’t help but to play on that and take it the wind and stunning view! Closer to golden hour we headed to Polihale State Park for their ceremony and vows. These Destination are about an hour apart. To get here is a bit rough and takes a while to get to the destination, but once you do, its SO WORTH IT!! As the sun started to set Katie and Dan exchanged their vows, one of their best friends officiated their ceremony and two other besties witnessed. We ran on beach and played under the colorful sky till we couldn’t any longer!
