EIGHTH GENERATION - SALISH LODGE

One of our biggest commercial branding shoots we’ve had the privilege to capture was with Eighth Generation at the Salish lodge in Snoqualmie, Washington. What we love most about this brand is their support of Native Artist both local to Seattle and throughout the United States in their products. Their slogan remains true to that statement of “inspired natives” not “native inspired. Eighth generation is most known for their wool blankets, jewelry, mugs, scarves, and even more! As I continue to photograph them throughout the years, it’s been amazing to watch them grow and add unique, sustainable, and luxury items to their store. Louie Gong is the founder of Eighth generation and an incredible creative force to be reckon with within the community . You may have also seen products *such as a wool Coast Salish blanket* on Lilly Gladstone photographed with Leonardo Dicaprio for their movie “Killers of the flower moon” Vogue Cover. Photographs I’ve taken with eighth generation have also been featured in Harpers Bazaar and Forbes as well my personal hometown of Seattle zine “The Stranger.”
